The first Teppanyaki restaurant in Central Africa is located within the CTC Congo Mall and Hotel. Offering exquisite Japanese cuisine this restaurant is divided into several areas for private and group dining. Banana leaf skins which set the plate for the dishes are highlighted in the façade screens, of burnished brass, custom curved booth screens are decorated with feature lighting and yellow velvet drapes create an opulent sense of drama to the entrance and to the windows overlooking the Congo River.
Inspired by the Omani folktales of old, the illustrations adorning the headboard are accompanied by a tale for your bedtime reading with a selection of different tales throughout the resort. Specially commissioned African Art plays key design feature in each of the rooms, whilst locally sourced fabrics and prints are used for the soft furnishings.

The entrance from the Upper Lobby is by the grand stair which is formed from a huge piece of white Omani marble, the handrail is carved to reflect the unusual aflaj irrigation system surrounding the resort. Our star lighting above reflects the night sky above the resort and offers a beautiful ambient light for cosy evening dining.
This flagship, 3 level salon within a townhouse development formend the 5 star salon and training facility for L'Oreal, it set the benchmark for a roll-out programme to tha other salons and training facilities in the UK. lighting and details such as the technical specification of the mirrors were a key detail to ensure that perfect colour rendering would be achieved. Our focus was to create a light and uplifting space throughout the 3 levels.
