Creating a 5-Star Salon and Training Facility with Feng Shui-inspired Design Elements and Optimal Lighting and Furniture Selection for Charlie Miller and L’Oréal

This flagship, 3-level salon within a townhouse development formed the 5-star salon and training facility for the team at Charlie Miller and L’Oréal. The soft GRP soffits provide gentle indirect lighting above the client workstations made of hardy resin and low Iron Crystal Glass mirrors. These were crucial details to ensure that perfect color rendering would be achieved. We worked closely with Fritz Hansen to ensure that the ‘Rin chairs were created at the ideal height for hairdressing use and upholstered to withstand the use of salon products. Our crucial design drive was to harness the beliefs of feng shui and create a light, uplifting space reflecting Charlie Millers’ respect for the well-being of their clients and team throughout the three levels.
