Due for completion in 2022, this Wellness resort on a remote cliff top overlooking the Arabian Sea is a celebration of tranquility from the serene color palette and choice of materials; nothing is loud here. The sense of place is apparent throughout, from the main feature of migrating birds that swoon through the entrance lobby and disappear above the restaurant below. Freshly carved Omani marble stairs lead to the restaurant, where twinkling Mooi pendants resonate with the star-filled sky above. Soft GRP Omani-style arches lead-off to the corridors to the guestrooms where Omani folktales have inspired the art direction with its story set aside on the nightstand for guests to enjoy as a bedtime read.
